We're still cranking! LUXBMX COVID-19 Update

As the situation evolves, we are all being more and more impacted by the COVID-19 virus. With tougher guidelines being imposed to slow the risk and rate of infection, we are having to take appropriate steps to ensure the safety of our customers, employees, friends and families. While our main goal remains the same; to provide the best range of BMX bikes, parts and accessories with the highest level of service, the LUXBMX you are familiar with, will need to evolve for the world of tomorrow.
Retail Showroom by Appointment Only
In the interest of safety, our retail showroom will be now be available by appointment only. There will be limited access in-store pick up options for online orders but pre-arrangement is essential. We understand this causes difficulty, but we ask for your support and understanding, while we try our best to traverse this difficult situation safely.
It goes without saying to please not visit the shop if you have a fever, dry cough and flu-like symptoms or have been into contact with anyone that has, or if you have recently returned from a COVID-19 hot-spot.
Our new workshop in Woolloongabba is now operational and we are taking workshop repairs. Please use the appointment link to organise you drop off and pick up times and get in contact with us beforehand to discuss the work that needs to be done.
Orders placed online that require assembly (bikes/wheel builds etc) will still be built, boxed and dispatched as per usual.
The online store is still 100% operational.
Our focus for the foreseeable future will be to make your experience on our website much easier. We aim to make our already epic service even better. With knowledgeable staff working remotely, we will have the opportunity to offer the best possible service ever via our website live chat to help you find what you need quicker.
Please note: One minor change we've had to implement is moving our shipping cutoff earlier to 1pm, this is to make sure express freight reaches the more limited amount of planes in time.
Stock levels on our website are live, populated from our physical Brisbane warehouse along with our available from supplier warehouses.
Currently, there are minimal disruptions across Australia and we are working with all our carriers and freight partners to keep up to date with any changes as they may occur.
We have noticed a much higher rate of delays than normal in the Australia Post network. Express is also delayed but is prioritised.

Due to the grounding of many airline carriers which normally offset the running cost with freight, we have been notified by Australia Post that there are considerable shipping delays in international shipping to select countries. In some cases, there are delays of 2-4 weeks. All international LUXBMX orders are shipped express meaning they will be prioritized in the postal network.

As we are implementing safe work measures for our wonderful staff, allowing them to work remotely, there will be limited access for us to be able to take calls via phone. This does however mean that we will be able to offer much more responsive live chat via our website, Facebook and Instagram channels.
With some serious challenges ahead with changing for all of us in more ways than we know, always remember that we are in this together. We love BMX and will always strive to make sure you love it as much as we do.
