Description

The tried and true Alex DM24 in 24 inch, 507 x 24mm. It is eyeleted, has a machined braking surface and is Schrader valve compatible, so it suits a straightforward cruiser wheel build.

Weight is 610g with an effective rim diameter of 494mm for working out spoke length. A rim strip is not included.

Features

24 inch, 24mm wide. A 507 x 24mm rim, so it builds into a 24 inch cruiser wheel with standard spokes and hubs.
Eyeleted spoke holes. Eyelets spread spoke tension into the rim, so the nipple seats are less likely to pull through under load.
Machined braking surface. The sidewall is machined flat, so rim brake pads bite evenly and the lever feel stays consistent.
Schrader valve compatible. The valve hole takes a Schrader valve, which is what most tubes at this size come with.
610g, ERD 494mm. Weight is 610g and the effective rim diameter is 494mm, so you can work out spoke length before you start the build.
