The system is based around a two layer design, with an outer flexible soft plastic cap and an inner Polyurethane foam. The foam is soft and flexible, molding to your joints for extreme comfort. On impact, the outer Polyamide soft cap takes the initial blow and disperses the force into the energy absorbing foam layer underneath. The DFS system has been improved over the years to the current version which even exceeds the requirements for the EN motorcycle protection standards.
