Description

The Madera C-4 is an injection moulded plastic drive side guard that keeps your hub off the coping. It runs with a proprietary steel insert that threads onto a 14mm axle and takes the place of the existing drive side jam nut.

It suits all 14mm rear Madera and Profile cassette hubs, including the Madera V-2 and Gulf Coaster and the Profile Mini, Totem, Elite and Zcoaster, and it works on RHD or LHD hubs. Plastic wears faster than aluminium, especially on very rough surfaces, so Madera intend this one for ramp and light street.

Features

RHD or LHD. The same guard suits either hand of drive, so it fits whichever way your hub is set up.
Steel insert replaces the jam nut. The proprietary insert threads onto the 14mm axle in place of the drive side jam nut and holds the guard in position.
Injection moulded plastic. The guard is 32g and the insert 34g, so the pair adds very little to the back of the bike.
Made for ramp and light street. Plastic wears faster than aluminium on very rough surfaces, so Madera intend this guard for ramps and lighter street riding.
