Description

Onyx 2025 OHM Race hubs feature EZO bearings and titanium bolts.

Since the OHM hubs came onto the BMX race scene a few years ago these have dominated the top end of hubs for custom bike builds here at LUX. Frankly, we just don't spec any other hub if you're after the very best in performance. Light weight and with all the trademark precision of Onyx manufacturing, pair these with a set of carbon rims and your young racer is set all the way until they move up to a more heavy duty 36 hole set up.

  • 28 hole race build. Drilled 28 hole for a light race wheel, and it pairs well with a set of carbon rims for a young racer.
  • Bolt-on with titanium bolts. Titanium axle bolts save weight, and Onyx warn that torquing them past 15NM will void the warranty.
  • EZO cartridge bearings. The 2025 OHM hubs run EZO bearings, so the front wheel spins with the precision you want on the gate.
  • 145 grams on the scales. At 5.1 oz there is next to no weight out front, which is exactly where you want to save it.
  • 120 lb rider weight limit. Onyx set a 120 lb (54.4 kg) limit, so it suits lighter racers rather than a bigger rider on a heavy duty build.
