Description

The Profile Racing C4 drive side hub guard is injection moulded plastic, and it must be used with the proprietary steel insert that threads onto a 14mm axle in place of the existing drive side jam nut. It works only with 14mm axles.

It suits all 14mm rear Profile and Madera cassette hubs, including the Madera V-2 and Gulf Coaster and the Profile Mini, Totem, Elite and Zcoaster, and can be run on either right or left hand drive hubs. Plastic wears faster than aluminium, especially on very rough surfaces, so the C4 guards are intended for ramp and light street. The guard weighs 32g and the insert 34g.
