The Protec Old School Helmet features a High-Impact ABS shell and was modified from the original 1973 Full-Tec helmet, using a retro shape that sits low on your head, offering great impact protection. The premium heat-sealed liner keeps you comfortable and the 11 open vents keep you cool. The more round shape practically moulds to any shape head.

Pro-Tec recommends sizing up if you measure at the top of a range: at 54cm choose S. Not every model comes in XS or XXL.

How to measure

Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of your head, about 2.5cm above your eyebrows and just above your ears. Keep it level and snug but not tight, and read the number in centimetres.

No tape measure? Use a piece of string or a shoelace, mark where it meets, then measure the string against a ruler.

Between two sizes? Most helmet brands recommend the larger size and using the thicker set of pads. A helmet should feel snug all round with no pressure points, and shouldn't rock when you shake your head.
