Description

The Radio Quartz range has proved a race winner since its debut and LUXBMX is stoked to continue to offer this premium aluminium frame, and new for this season, the Quartz frame is available in a brilliant new colour, Metallic Copper. A winning super light alloy race frame, taking the track proven Helium frame as a base, Radio upgraded this frame to use its new “paradigm” 6061-t6 hydroformed superior tubing to shed a considerable amount of weight compared to the Helium frame. the Quartz also uses a new forged dropout design which allows it to be fully disc-brake compatible when used with the Helium disc brake mount. available in 6 sizes and in our super stealthy matt black finish, the Quartz would be a contender to be the lightest and sleekest machine on the track.

Features

Super light 6061-T6 alloy. Radio's paradigm hydroformed tubing sheds a considerable amount of weight over the Helium frame this one is based on.
Track proven race geometry. Built on the Helium platform with a 20.5" top tube, 11.6" bottom bracket height, 13.9" minimum chainstay and a 71° seat tube angle.
Forged, disc ready dropouts. The new 20mm forged dropout design runs disc brakes when paired with the Helium disc brake mount, so the frame grows with your build.
Chain tensioner included. The integrated tensioner suits 10, 15 and 20mm hub axles, so most race wheels drop straight into the 20mm dropouts.
Euro threaded bottom bracket. A BSA 68mm shell keeps cranks easy to source and service, with a 27.2mm seat post and 20" x 1.75" wheel fitment.
