The Redline HP-48 is a 20 inch wheelset produced using era-correct original products and technical specifications. The high flange, 48 spoke build delivers that desirable blend of lightness and strength, laced to chrome plated double walled rims. The arrival of the 48 spoke wheelset in the mid 1980s essentially ended the reign of the BMX mag wheel, as pro freestyle riders moved off heavier injection moulded wheels.

It comes as a front and rear set on sealed bearing high flange hubs modelled from the original Redline 48 hubs, with 10mm axles for installation on 1980s era BMX bikes. Redline branded rim tape, water transfer rim decals and black hub decals are installed, with an optional red hub decal set included and custom printed Redline 48 packaging. The rear is a freewheel hub and the freewheel is not included.
