Highlights

  • Reinforced double wall
  • Wider 36mm profile
  • Flash welded joint
  • 6061-T6 alloy

Description

The Salt Mesa is an 18 inch rim for a junior build, made from 6061-T6 alloy with a solid reinforced double wall and thicker sidewalls where the spokes pull hardest.

The profile is a wider 36mm and the joint is flash welded rather than pinned. It comes drilled 36 hole and weighs 400g, with an ETRTO of 355mm and an ERD of 339mm for working out spoke length.

Features
  • Reinforced double wall. Thicker sidewalls through the double wall section, so it stands up to landings on a bike that gets ridden hard.
  • Wider 36mm profile. The wider profile gives the tyre a better base and helps the wheel hold its shape.
  • Flash welded joint. The join is welded rather than pinned, which makes for a smoother, stronger hoop all the way around.
  • 6061-T6 alloy. Heat treated alloy, so you get strength without the weight of a steel rim on a small bike.
  • 36 hole, 400g. Drilled 36 hole for a strong junior wheel build, at 400g per rim.

Specifications
  • Wheel size: 18"
  • Material: 6061-T6 alloy
  • Hole count: 36h
  • Rim width: 36mm
  • Weight: 400g
  • Note: ETRTO 355mm, ERD 339mm.
