Deck out your rig with this sick looking throwback sprocket from S&M!

This sprocket first appeared in our 2005 catalog as the ‘Bashguard Sprocket’ avail in 33t, and then simply as ‘Guard Sprocket’ in the 2006 catalog when it began being offered in 25, 28, 30, 33, 36 and 39t. Fast forward to June 2024 when S&M Pro Aryei Levenson started riding a used 33t he got from Shad at Goods BMX and single-handedly created the demand that led to this slightly updated re-issue.

On this current version we’ve widened the crank clearance cuts a little, updated the teeth to a modern profile, and offset the teeth as well for better chain alignment. We also added more engraving and released three additional colors including a matte purple to match Aryei’s signature frame. And of course we still made it ourselves – right here in the good ol’ US of A.
