Description

The TLD 22S D3 AS Fiberlite Helmet is one of Troy Lee's most sort after model. Used by BMX racers the world over, the D3 features a lightweight composite design that has been in the TLD line up for years and seen on podiums the world over. Incorporating 3D cheek pads, the D3 Fiberlite has a comfortable, secure fit and in addition has quick-release cheek pads allow for helmet removal in the event of an emergency. Wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of your head, about 2.5cm above your eyebrows and just above your ears. Keep it level and snug but not tight, and read the number in centimetres.

No tape measure? Use a piece of string or a shoelace, mark where it meets, then measure the string against a ruler.

Between two sizes? Most helmet brands recommend the larger size and using the thicker set of pads. A helmet should feel snug all round with no pressure points, and shouldn't rock when you shake your head.
