The Animal Ryan Howard Signature Rear Hubguard is a signature design from Animal rider Ryan Howard, made from heat treated 4140 chromoly rather than plastic.

It is a universal fit guard that works on either the drive side or the non drive side of your rear hub, and it clears a 9 tooth driver.

  • Heat treated 4140 chromoly. Heat treated chromoly takes repeated grinds instead of wearing through the way a soft guard does.

  • Clears a 9 tooth driver. Built with the clearance for a 9 tooth driver, so it suits a common cassette setup.
  • Rear hub protection. Covers the part of your rear hub that meets ledges and rails, so the hub itself stays intact.
