Description

The Answer Carve Folding tyre is a lightweight race tire designed for paved and hard packed dirt race tracks. Features include a diamond shape tread pattern for straight-line grip, micro knurled sides for improved corner traction, a smooth centerline for minimal rolling resistance and a folding bead for maximum weight savings.

Features

Sized 20 x 1.85 inch. The widest size in the Carve range, for riders who want more rubber on paved and hard packed dirt race tracks.
Inflates to 48mm wide. Measured on the rim it comes up 1.89 inches wide and 20.35 inches in diameter, so you can check frame and fork clearance first.
Folding bead, 363g. Even at this width the folding bead keeps the tyre to 363g, so the extra grip does not cost much weight.
Diamond tread for straight line grip. The diamond shape tread pattern is made to hook up when you are pedalling straight, with micro knurled sides for corner traction.
Smooth centreline rolls fast. A smooth strip down the middle of the tread keeps rolling resistance low, and it takes up to 100 PSI.
