The Federal Assault 15 is built from 100% 20/20 heat-treated 4130 chromoly, with butted and tapered legs and a hydroformed steerer tube. The 6mm dropouts are slotted for 3/8" axles and use 1-piece formed endcaps, which reduces the amount of welding at the tips.

A 15mm offset keeps the front end short, the bearing race is integrated into the crown, and there is room for tyres up to 2.40". The new style H24 compression bolt is included, and the fork weighs 1.0 kg (2 lbs 4 oz).
