The V2 Cab Freecoaster features a CNC machined 6061 alloy 36 hole shell that has been trimmed down to reduce weight and to look more like a cassette hub than a freecoaster. The V2 hub features offset flange heights and a new and improved axle and nylon clutch system. By replacing the traditional spring/ball the new hub requires less maintenance and it easier to service. The nylon retention system also reduces drag and rolling resistance.
