A grey, circular Odyssey Utility Sprocket Guard featuring the word "ODYSSEY" engraved on it with five screws arranged in the center.

Highlights

Made for one sprocket
Takes the hit for the teeth
A wear part you can replace

Description

The replacement guard for the Odyssey Utility Sprocket. The guard is the part that takes the hit on a ledge, which is the whole idea: it wears down instead of the sprocket teeth.

It is made for the Utility Sprocket only, so it will not bolt onto another Odyssey sprocket or another brand. Check which sprocket you are running before you order.

About the Brand

Odyssey BMX is dedicated to quality and innovation. Odyssey has been a major player in the BMX industry for a long time now and has produced some of the most iconic and groundbreaking parts in the sport's history.

Features

Made for one sprocket. It fits the Odyssey Utility Sprocket only, so check what you are running before ordering because it does not suit other sprockets.
Takes the hit for the teeth. The guard sits over the sprocket, so a grind or a cased landing lands on the guard and not on the teeth.
A wear part you can replace. Guards grind down over time, so this is the spare when the old one is worn through rather than a whole new sprocket.
