What's the advantage of having a flatter bar? You can place your body, and particlarly your shoulders, square with the bars so you fire out of the gate dead straight on the way to the lead. 

The internal structure of the handlebars remains the same with the 20/20 heat treatment for maximum strength and durability. This bar also retains a low upsweep of 1,5°.
