Description

A quality replacement 16 inch front wheel, built around Salt's wider 35mm beam rim: single wall alloy with straight sidewalls.

The hub is Salt's Rookie front hub, alloy with low flanges, running loose ball bearings on a 3/8 inch axle. Rim tape is included, so it is ready for a tube and tyre.

Features

Wider 35mm beam rim. Salt's beam rim measures 35mm across, so there is a solid platform under a 16 inch tyre.
Single wall alloy rim. Alloy with straight sidewalls, so the wheel stays light on a small bike where weight is felt most.
Sixteen inch, 28 hole. Built as a 16 inch wheel with 28 spoke holes, so it matches the spoke count on the usual 16 inch builds.
3/8 inch axle. The Rookie hub runs a 3/8 inch axle on loose ball bearings, so check your dropouts take that size.
Rim tape included. Rim tape comes with it, so all you need to add is a tube and tyre.
