Description
Shimano XT Disc Brakes have a reputation of feel, stopping power and reliability. This is a righthand lever with a post mount style caliper, and as it's the newer design with a more inboard clamp, they are best suited for Pro bars only where there is some flat real estate between the end of the of the grip and where the bars begin to bend.

Features
  • Right hand lever. This kit is the right hand lever, listed here as the front brake, so make sure it matches the side you want to run.
  • Post mount calliper. The calliper is post mount, so your fork needs post mount tabs or the matching adaptor to take it.
  • XT feel and power. Shimano's XT discs have a long standing reputation for lever feel, stopping power and reliability.
  • Clamp sits further inboard. This is the newer XT design with a more inboard lever clamp, which changes where it can sit on your bars.
  • Pro bars only. You need flat bar between the end of the grip and where the bars start to bend, so it suits Pro bars best.
