Description

Matt Ray has been part of BMX and Subrosa for a long time, and the MRIII is the latest version of his signature frame. It is not a big departure from the last one: he fine tuned a few specs, lowering the bottom bracket height and adding a longer top tube option, and there are new decals too.

A low 11.3" bottom bracket and a long back end at 13.3" to 14" mean it should be right at home in the deep end, while the 75° head tube and 71° seat tube keep the geometry neutral and responsive for all kinds of riding. Chromoly construction, 14mm dropouts, a mid bottom bracket and an integrated seat post clamp round it out.

Features
  • Low 11.3" bottom bracket. Sits you down in the bike, which is what you want when the terrain gets deep.
  • Long, adjustable back end. Chainstays run from 13.3" to 14", so you can set the rear wheel where you want it.
  • Neutral 75° and 71° geometry. Responsive but stable, which makes it a good all round frame rather than one built for a single style.
  • Removable brake mounts and gyro tabs. Run it clean and brakeless, or bolt the hardware back on later, sold separately.
  • Chromoly build, integrated seat clamp. High quality chromoly throughout, with 14mm dropouts, a mid bottom bracket and a built in seat post clamp.
