Description

Sun has been making the Envy in double walled 6061-T6 aluminium for years and has not had to mess with the formula. Nipple eyelets add strength at the spoke holes, which is a big part of why BMX racers still reach for these when they are building wheels with alloy rims.

This is the 24 inch version, 507 x 27mm in the non-braking front profile and 507 x 28mm in the rear profile with braking sidewalls. Both are 18mm high, drilled 36 hole with eyelets and take a Schrader valve. The front weighs 489g with an ERD of 488mm, the rear 517g with an ERD of 492mm.

Features

Fits 24 inch race wheels. Sized 507 x 27mm in the front and 507 x 28mm in the rear, the 24 x 1.75 inch standard.
Front and rear profiles. The front profile has no braking surface, the rear has braking sidewalls, so pick the one that matches your build.
Double walled 6061-T6 alloy. Double wall construction in 6061-T6 aluminium is the formula that has kept the Envy on race bikes for years.
Eyelets at every nipple. Nipple eyelets add strength to the part of the rim that takes the most load from spoke tension.
36 holes, Schrader valve. Drilled 36 hole with a Schrader A/V valve hole, at 489g front and 517g rear.
