Description

The Terrible One Ruben Alcantara frame remains mostly the same as the last run, how can you improve on perfections right?
One difference is that all of our frames will now come with a non-integrated seat clamp which will be included with the frame in the frame box.  We switched from integrated clamps on our US-made SFA and Barcode frames and realized how much better a non-integrated clamp both tightens, and holds. Ruben’s frame will be offered in Gloss Black, Gloss Clear Raw, & Basalt Grey (which is a nice warm-toned darker grey).

  • Ruben Alcantara's frame, carried over. Mostly the same as the last run, with the 74° head angle and 8.5" standover that made it what it is.
  • Non-integrated seat clamp included. T1 switched away from integrated clamps on the SFA and Barcode after finding a separate clamp both tightens and holds better.
  • Six top tube sizes. 20.25" to 21.5", with the 21.5" running a 0.5" longer rear end so it does not feel cramped.
  • Gussets and tapered stays. External gussets on the down tube and top tube, tapered seatstays and chainstays, and offset head tube thickness.
  • 4mm heat treated dropouts. Heat treated dropouts stand up to the hits, with removable brake mounts and guides if you want to run a brake.

  • Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
  • Top tube is fixed once you buy, but chainstay length, stem length, fork offset and bar position all change how the built bike feels.
