Description

A true one-of-a-kind balance machine. Hand-built and dialed in the LUXBMX workshop, The Balkan Eagle is an uncompromising custom street machine built around Renato Rancso’s signature Colony Balkan Eagle frame. Making it as close to Renato's current bike as possible, this is high-spec exclusivity ready to rip straight out of the shop. 

The foundation starts with an unmistakable gloss white 21" top tube frame, contrasted cleanly with ED black Colony Guardian forks and the 9" Colony Bloody Oath bars. Under the hood, the drivetrain is engineered for relentless street abuse: Primo Stevie Churchill signature 160mm cranks paired with a 25T Primo Griffin guard sprocket and a burly Primo 121 halflink chain.

Out back, a precision Colony freecoaster hub handles backward lines with ease, laced into rock-solid Primo Balance V2 rims using Spectre Sandvik 14G spokes. Fat Primo Stevie Churchill 2.45" rubber delivers massive grip and cushion, while a Biscuit corduroy seat and four Colony Anyway plastic pegs complete a setup that’s as smooth on the eye as it is brutal on the ledges.

Assembly information

Your bike ships mostly assembled in the box. Finishing it takes most people 10 to 20 minutes with basic tools, and the video above walks through every step.

  • Fit the handlebars and line them up with the front wheel
  • Fit the front wheel, pedals and seat post
  • Check the brakes and tyre pressure before the first ride

Tools: Allen key set and a 15mm, 17mm or 19mm spanner for the pedals and axle nuts (bikes can vary between these three sizes). A socket is needed if installing pegs.
