The Termite Has Landed: Jonny Mac's S&M ATF XL
He's in ya walls, he's in ya roof, he took out Deb's shed, the treehouse is dust. The Termite is here. Watch out!
The newest frame from S&M Bikes just landed in the store, and this one hits pretty close to home. If you know the Brisbane scene, you know Jonny Mac (Jonny Mackellar). He's a ripper on and off the bike, and now he's got his own S&M frame.
Painted like the van
The Termite is S&M's ATF XL in a colourway inspired by Jon's iconic van: yellow up top, fading into black, with the Termite badge across the down tube and the S&M shield on the seat tube. It's hand made in the USA from butted Thermal-X chromoly, like every S&M frame.
It's a small run, so once they're gone, they're gone.
Built for the tall team
The ATF XL takes S&M's tried and true ATF and stretches it out: a taller 5 inch head tube, a 9 inch standover and longer top tubes. It's responsive enough for the street and stable enough for trails and park.
- Top tube: 21, 21.25 or 21.5 inch
- Rear end: 13.4 to 13.875 inch
- Head tube: 5 inch, integrated (45/45, 41.8mm), 75 degrees
- Seat tube angle: 71 degrees
- BB height: 11.7 inch, mid BB
- Standover: 9 inch
- Dropouts: 14mm slot, 4Q-Baked
- Brake mounts: thread-on 990 (sold separately)
- Weight: 2.15 kg (4.75 lb)
