Description

The Federal Bruno 2 is a brakeless street frame built from 4130 chromoly tubing, with an embossed down tube gusset carrying the F logo and graphics drawn by Rich Forne.

Investment cast parts do the heavy lifting: 6.5mm dropouts with integrated chain tensioners, seat stay and chain stay bridges, and an integrated seat clamp. Tapered chain stays and a mid bottom bracket finish it off, with a choice of 20.85", 21" or 21.25" top tubes.

Features

Brakeless street frame. The Bruno 2 runs brakeless only, keeping the rear end clean with nothing bolted to the seat stays.
6.5mm investment cast dropouts. Thick cast dropouts with integrated chain tensioners take the impact of grinds and keep the rear wheel where you set it.
Investment cast bridges and seat clamp. Cast seat stay and chain stay bridges and an integrated cast seat clamp mean fewer bolt-on parts to work loose.
Embossed down tube gusset. The gusset carries the F logo and adds material where the down tube meets the head tube.
Three top tube lengths. Take 20.85", 21" or 21.25" with a 75 degree head tube, a 71 degree seat tube and chain stays slammed at 13.6".

The height bands overlap on purpose. If you land in two of them, riding style breaks the tie: longer for flow, trails and transitions, shorter for technical street and park. Plenty of riders, pros included, deliberately ride longer than a chart suggests.

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the length of the tube you can see. Measure your current frame that way and compare.

Size up for stability through trails and transitions.
Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
