Highlights

  • Reissue of a classic
  • Butted Japanese 4130 chromoly
  • 74mm Mid bottom bracket
  • 117mm CNC machined head tube

Description

A limited edition reissue of the 4 Seasons, the first modern double diamond frame Wethepeople made and a staple of the scene for the two decades after it. The oversize stays, cupped style bearing shells and classic tubing silhouette stay close to the original V1 in both look and styling.

New school details make it an easier frame to live with: butted, Japanese seamless 4130 chromoly tubing, a 74mm Mid bottom bracket and a 117mm head tube, both CNC machined and heat-treated. The mellower head tube and welded brake mounts keep the mid-school feel, and it is backed by the Wethepeople Lifetime Guarantee.

About the Brand

Wethepeople BMX began making its mark on history almost 15 years ago. Designing the first rough drawings of their frames and forks around the same time as the world started to see BMX in a different light, a time when rails were first grinded and the possibility that riding the streets was in fact the true way forward. To achieve their aims, Wethepeople knows exactly how to deploy their strengths with an efficiency that is unmatched in the BMX industry.

Features

  • Reissue of a classic. A limited edition rebuild of the original 4 Seasons, staying close to the V1 in aesthetics and styling.
  • Butted Japanese 4130 chromoly. Seamless butted tubing slims the frame down and reduces the weight while holding the classic tubing silhouette.
  • 74mm Mid bottom bracket. CNC machined and heat-treated, and shaped for a hassle free build up.
  • 117mm CNC machined head tube. An integrated head tube with a mellower angle, so the mid-school feel stays but the build stays simple.
  • Backed by the Lifetime Guarantee. Wethepeople cover the 4 Seasons for life, with welded brake mounts and oversize stays as part of the package.

20 inch BMX frame sizing

Frames are sized by top tube length. Start with your height, then let riding style decide where in the range you land.

Rider heightTop tube
147 to 157cm19.75 to 20.25"
157 to 168cm20 to 20.5"
168 to 175cm20.25 to 20.75"
175 to 183cm20.5 to 21"
183 to 190cm and up20.75 to 21.5"

The height bands overlap on purpose. If you land in two of them, riding style breaks the tie: longer for flow, trails and transitions, shorter for technical street and park. Plenty of riders, pros included, deliberately ride longer than a chart suggests.

How to measure

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the length of the tube you can see. Measure your current frame that way and compare.

  • Size up for stability through trails and transitions.
  • Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
  • Top tube is fixed once you buy, but chainstay length, stem length, fork offset and bar position all change how the built bike feels.

Not sure? Tell us your height and how you ride, and we will tell you what we would put you on.
