Description

The Alienation TCS R1 is a 20 x 1.60 rear race tyre on a 40 casing, with a directional tread meant to be run at the back. At 255g on a 120 TPI casing it is one of the lighter options for a race build.

The bead is Alienation's proprietary TCS, so it can be set up tubeless on a TCS rim with TCS tape, valve and sealant, all sold separately. Maximum pressure is 85 psi, and it measures 44mm wide inflated on a Malice rim.

Features

Directional rear race tread. The pattern is made to run one way on the back wheel, so watch the direction when you fit it.
255g on the scales. One of the lighter rear race tyres going, so there is less weight to spin up out of the gate.
120 TPI dual compound. A fine 120 TPI casing with a hard centre for roll speed and a softer outer for grip through the turns.
Tubeless with the TCS system. Run it on a TCS rim with TCS tape, valve and sealant and you can leave the tube out.
Up to 85 psi. Pump it firm for hard pack or run it softer for grip, with 85 psi as the ceiling.
