Description

The Vice Grip is a CNC machined calliper designed with more room for the larger tyres modern bikes run. The rigid design and the materials behind it give strong braking power with a smooth, responsive feel at the lever.

The arms are CNC machined 7075 and run 689RS sealed bearings at the pivots, with low profile spring adjusters for clearance. Transparent female bolt type brake pads, an alloy cable hanger and a straddle cable are included, and it can be fitted front or rear.

Features
  • Room for a bigger tyre. The arms are shaped with more clearance for the larger modern tyres, so the calliper fits where an older brake will not.
  • 7075 CNC machined arms. Rigid arms cut from 7075, which is where the strong braking power comes from.
  • 689RS sealed bearing pivots. Sealed bearings at the pivots keep the arms moving smoothly and keep grit out of the pivot.
  • Low profile spring adjusters. The spring adjusters sit low on the arms for extra clearance.
  • Fits front or rear. The same calliper works at either end, and comes with transparent female bolt type pads, an alloy cable hanger and a straddle cable.
