Description

The Animal Javelin front hub is CNC machined from 7075 aluminium and runs a chromoly female axle. Courage Adams runs these hubs front and rear.

Inside are two 6902 stainless steel bearings with 7075 cone spacers, and the hub weighs 280g. The 10mm bolts take either a 17mm socket or a 6mm allen key.

Features
  • CNC machined 7075 aluminium. The shell is CNC machined from 7075 aluminium, which keeps the front end light without going thin on material.
  • Chromoly female axle. A chromoly female axle takes 10mm bolts from each side rather than nuts on a threaded stub.
  • Stainless steel bearings. Two 6902 stainless cartridge bearings do the spinning, with 7075 cone spacers holding them in place.
  • 280g on the scales. At 280g it keeps weight off the front wheel, which is where you notice it most.
  • Socket or allen key. The 10mm bolts work with either a 17mm socket or a 6mm allen key, so fitting and removal is simple.
