Description

The Colony Cadet 16 inch Frame is built for younger riders stepping up their game on park and street. Progressive geometry gives a balance of performance and comfort, and the whole frame is put together for durability and easy customising.

It is full CrMo, with a heat-treated integrated head tube at a longer 118mm, a heat-treated MID bottom bracket and 6mm thick dropouts with built-in chain tensioners. The down tube, top tube and rear stays are tapered, an external gusset backs up the down tube, the rear end is widened for 2.4" tyres, and the built-in seat clamp uses a replaceable nut and bolt. Brake mounts are removable.

  • Full CrMo construction. Strong and durable with the right mix of weight saving and reliability for aggressive riding.
  • Longer 118mm integrated head tube. Heat-treated and run long for extra stiffness and strength at the front end, where young riders load it hardest.
  • 6mm dropouts with chain tensioners. Rugged dropouts keep the rear wheel locked in, and the built-in tensioners make chain adjustment simple.
  • Wider rear for 2.4" tyres. Extra clearance out back so you can run bigger rubber and dial the setup in for maximum grip.
  • Removable brake mounts, built-in clamp. Run it braked or brakeless, and the integrated seat clamp uses a replaceable nut and bolt to keep things simple.
