Description

Built to ride, ready to rip. The Colony Cadet 20" Frame is an all-CrMo frame that has proven itself time and again, and it is the successor to the Colony Sweetooth. Whether you are just getting serious or already stacking clips, it covers what you need.

The geometry is park and street friendly: a 75.2° head angle, 71° seat angle, a snappy 13.25" rear end at the mid-point and clearance for tyres up to 2.4". Top tube lengths run from 19.2" to 21" so there is a size to match your style. Fully heat-treated chromoly tubing includes a 118mm integrated head tube, tapered stays and a down tube gusset, and the 6mm dropouts have built-in chain tensioners. Removable brake mounts and hardware come standard.

Park and street geometry. A 75.2° head angle, 71° seat angle and 11.5" bottom bracket height make it feel right under your feet.
Snappy 13.25" rear end. Measured at the mid-point and roughly 13.1" slammed, so you can set the back end short and quick.
Full heat-treated chromoly throughout. A 118mm integrated head tube, tapered down tube, top tube and stays, plus a beefy down tube gusset for strength where it counts.
6mm dropouts, removable brake mounts. Heat-treated dropouts with built-in tensioners keep the wheel locked in, and brake mounts and hardware come standard for braked or brakeless.

Frames are sized by top tube length. Start with your height, then let riding style decide where in the range you land.

The height bands overlap on purpose. If you land in two of them, riding style breaks the tie: longer for flow, trails and transitions, shorter for technical street and park. Plenty of riders, pros included, deliberately ride longer than a chart suggests.

How to measure

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the length of the tube you can see. Measure your current frame that way and compare.

Size up for stability through trails and transitions.
Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
Top tube is fixed once you buy, but chainstay length, stem length, fork offset and bar position all change how the built bike feels.
