Description

The Cult Hybrid FC is a rear wheel built around a freecoaster that is put together like a cassette hub. Rather than a typical freecoaster mechanism, Cult have built it as a cassette hub with a few changes to make it coast, which makes it lighter, stronger and less complicated than most freecoasters while keeping cassette functionality and durability.

It runs a magnadrive magnetic driver for superior pawl retention, a wave spring friction system and a durable heat treated 14mm axle, with more slack on tap than any other cassette based coaster and adjustable to suit. Install the cassette springs and the hub converts to a cassette hub. It comes with a non drive side hub guard and is laced to the new stronger and wider Match V2 rim.

  • Freecoaster built like a cassette. The mechanism is cassette hub based rather than a typical freecoaster, so you get cassette durability and function with a coasting driver.
  • Adjustable, larger slack. More slack than any other cassette based coaster, and adjustable, so you can set how far it winds before it drives.
  • Converts to a cassette hub. Install the cassette springs and the same hub runs as a cassette, so one wheel covers both setups.
  • Heat treated 14mm axle. A durable heat treated 14mm axle suits frames with 14mm dropouts and takes the landings.
  • Hub guard and Match V2 rim. Comes with a non drive side hub guard and is laced to the new stronger and wider Match V2 rim.
