Description

The Shorty Killian Roth V2 is Cult's street frame: short back end, high bottom bracket, steep head tube. Geometry runs a 75.5° head tube, a 70° seat tube, 13" to 13.3" chainstays and an 11.8" bottom bracket, with 8.65" standover.

It is built from 100% Cult classic tubing with top and down tube gussets, an integrated head tube and an externally machined mid bottom bracket shell. The seatpost clamp, seatstay bridge and heat treated dropouts are investment cast, the S-bend chainstays clear 2.40" tyres, and the tapered seatstays take removable brake mounts. Phosphate Raw, in five sizes.

Features

Short, quick, responsive back end. 13" to 13.3" chainstays and an 11.8" bottom bracket with a 75.5° head tube: set up to pivot and spin in the street.
Gussets where it counts. Top and down tube gussets back up the 100% Cult classic tubing at the joints that cop the hardest hits.
S-bend chainstays clear 2.40" tyres. Room for a fat rear tyre without rubbing, so you can drop pressure for grip on rough ground.
Removable brake mounts. Run a rear brake on the tapered seatstays or strip the mounts for a clean look. Brake mount hardware is not included.
Investment cast, heat treated dropouts. The dropouts, seatpost clamp and seatstay bridge are all investment cast, with heat treatment at the rear end where the loads land.

Frames are sized by top tube length. Start with your height, then let riding style decide where in the range you land.

The height bands overlap on purpose. If you land in two of them, riding style breaks the tie: longer for flow, trails and transitions, shorter for technical street and park. Plenty of riders, pros included, deliberately ride longer than a chart suggests.

How to measure

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the length of the tube you can see. Measure your current frame that way and compare.

Size up for stability through trails and transitions.
Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
Top tube is fixed once you buy, but chainstay length, stem length, fork offset and bar position all change how the built bike feels.
