Description

The Shorty V2 Sumn Lite is a street machine in Eddie Cuellar's Navy Blue colourway. It runs a short 13 inch back end, a steep 75.5° head tube, a 70° seat tube and an 11.8" bottom bracket, with 8.65" standover.

The frame is 100% Cult classic tubing with top and down tube gussets, an integrated head tube and an externally machined mid bottom bracket shell. Investment cast seatpost clamp, seatstay bridge and heat treated dropouts finish it off, the S-bend chainstays clear 2.40" tyres, and the tapered seatstays take removable brake mounts.

Features

Eddie Cuellar Navy Blue colourway. The Sumn Lite version of the Shorty V2, in five top tube lengths from 20" through to 21.25".
Short 13 inch back end. Chainstays run 13" to 13.3" behind a 75.5° head tube, so the bike turns in fast and comes around quickly.
Cult classic tubing with gussets. Top and down tube gussets add material at the joints that take the biggest hits on a street bike.
S-bend chainstays clear 2.40" tyres. Plenty of room for a wide rear tyre, so you can run lower pressure without the tyre catching the stays.
Removable brake mounts. Fit a rear brake to the tapered seatstays or take the mounts off for a clean back end. Brake mount hardware is not included.

Frames are sized by top tube length. Start with your height, then let riding style decide where in the range you land.

The height bands overlap on purpose. If you land in two of them, riding style breaks the tie: longer for flow, trails and transitions, shorter for technical street and park. Plenty of riders, pros included, deliberately ride longer than a chart suggests.

How to measure

Top tube is measured from the centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube, so it is not the length of the tube you can see. Measure your current frame that way and compare.

Size up for stability through trails and transitions.
Size down if you want the bike quick and twitchy for spins and grinds.
Top tube is fixed once you buy, but chainstay length, stem length, fork offset and bar position all change how the built bike feels.
