The Driveline cranks are a square drive crank that are manufactured from heat treated and forged 6061 T6 alloy. Offered in a 5 bolt configuration with a 110 BCD drilling, these cranks are available in 5mm increments from 120mm right through to 170mm and are the perfect, and affordable, way to get you rider onto the correct crank size as they grow.
When you purchase a complete race bike, the brand has to decide on the ""best sized"" crank for that bike when bringing it to market, which ultimately means that they aim on the average sized rider in the segment. All of the brands that LUXBMX offers do a really good job at supplying what is the best length crank for say, a junior complete bike, but as you rider grows, they might not neccesarily outgrow the frame size, but the cranks maybe become too short. And yes, 5mm can make a difference to how a rider pedals.
With these Driveline three-piece crank arms, you can simply change out the standard cranks from the bike, and bolt these on. Giving the rider that extra 5 or 10mm length on the crank. The same solution can be applied to a race bike that maybe has cranks too long for the rider, swap in a set of these to reduce the crank length to get your rider set up right.
Most complete (or off the shelf) race bikes are supplied with a square tapered style bottom bracket to which these cranks can be bolted onto. If you are unsure of the type of crank, or bottom bracket, type your bike has, hit us up and we'll identify the type on your bike for you and get you sorted.
