Description

These Excess 24 inch rims are perfect for a budget friendly wheel build. Available with a braking surface for those running V-brakes, and a front specific (non-braking) rim.

Made in 6061 Aluminium with an anodised finish, EXCESS XLC rims are specially designed for BMX with 2 different aero rim profiles for the front or for the rear depending on the type of braking used. In addition, they have angle nipples holes, for a more direct angle offering a more rigid shelving.

Features

Front and rear profiles. Available with a braking surface for riders running V-brakes, or as a front specific rim without one, so match it to your brake setup.
24 inch, 507 x 28mm. Sized for a 24 inch cruiser wheel build, with an ERD of 491mm so you can work out spoke length.
Double walled 6061 T6. Optimised internal geometry in a double wall 6061 T6 alloy rim keeps it to 394g without giving up strength.
Angled nipple holes. The nipple holes are angled for a more direct spoke line, which makes for a more rigid wheel.
Presta valve hole. Drilled for a Presta valve and finished with a single process hi-polished black anodised finish.
