Description

The ION BMX carbon fiber 18 rims are crafted specifically for freestyle BMX riding. Built using Toray T800s intermediate modulus carbon fiber, these rims combine high tensile strength with exceptional lightweight durability, resulting in a rim that excels in both toughness and performance.

Features
  • Toray T800s carbon fibre. Intermediate modulus carbon with high tensile strength, so the rim stays light without giving up toughness.
  • Around 300 grams. At 300g plus or minus 15g, this takes weight off the outside of the wheel where you feel it most.
  • 36 hole, 4D drilled. Drilled 36 hole only, with 4D spoke hole drilling so the nipples line up with the angle of the spokes.
  • Brakeless by design. There is no brake surface on this rim, so it suits riders running no rear brake.
  • 36mm wide, 26mm deep. A wide profile built specifically for freestyle riding, with an ERD of 322mm for working out spoke lengths.
