KMC K1 SL Freestyle Chain (Wide) / Silver / 1/2x1/8
The KMC K1 SL Freestyle Chain (Wide) is elegantly coiled next to its separate chain link connector, highlighting its anti chain drop design and lightweight construction.

Highlights

  • 1/2 x 1/8 wide chain
  • 112 links out of the box
  • Hollow pin, super light
  • Stretch proof treatment

Description

The K1 SL is KMC's BMX freestyle chain in the wide 1/2" x 1/8" sizing, and it also suits track and fixed gear setups. It uses a special dynamic configuration plate, an anti chain drop design and inner plate chamfering that cuts noise.

Hollow pins and a heavy duty structure keep it super light at 320 grams for 112 links, with a 9.4mm pin length. Stretch proof treatment is there for longer durability, and it comes nickel plated in silver or Ti-Nitride gold.

Features
  • 1/2 x 1/8 wide chain. The wide 1/8" sizing suits BMX freestyle drivetrains, along with track and fixed gear setups.
  • 112 links out of the box. Enough length to size up to most setups, at 320 grams with a 9.4mm pin length.
  • Hollow pin, super light. Hollow pins take weight out of the chain while it keeps its heavy duty structure.
  • Stretch proof treatment. Treated to resist stretch, which is what gives the chain its longer durability.
  • Anti chain drop design. A special dynamic configuration plate and chamfered inner plates keep the chain where it belongs and cut the noise.
