Description

The Magura MT4 post mount kit is described by the company as a powerful all-rounder for brake street and trail. Well, we like it even better for BMX racing. You barely touch the brakes in racing and with a simple and elegant design, this one piston disc brake is all you need for racing. Plus the lever can be located on either side, saving you the hassle of buying a "front" or "rear" kit from you know who.

Thanks to its Carbotecture® brake master, the MT4 has a low total weight of less than 230 grams.

Features

Under 230 grams. The Carbotecture brake master keeps total weight below 230 grams, so the brake barely shows up on a race bike.
Lever fits either side. The lever can be located on the left or the right, so you do not need to order a specific front or rear kit.
Two finger aluminium lever. An aluminium lever blade shaped for two fingers, leaving the rest of your hand on the grip.
One piston, simple design. A single piston disc brake with a simple, elegant layout, which is all you need when you barely touch the brakes racing.
An all rounder that suits racing. Magura describe the MT4 as a powerful all rounder for street and trail, and we like it even better for BMX racing.
