Description

These Meybo Holeshot frames get better looking. With a number of race seasons under their belt, the Holeshot range of 6061 T-6 multiple butted hydroformed frames are seen the world over proving that this Dutch firm know how to dominate a pack.

All new colours for 2026, and while design and function, along with strength and a lightweight design are paramount in the world of BMX racing, we are suckers for a beautiful, and minimal, finish. While the Meybos meet all of the criteria of a race winning design, just as important is that they look as cool as they do. A frame doesn't need to shout about fluid dynamics and materials used in production, a simple Meybo decal is all it needs. The Holeshot frames are light, stiff and manufactured to a level that when you're building one, all of the components bolt straight up, no fuss.

The 2026 range are disc only, which is now the norm for BMX race frames. They provide strong, precise braking, with minimal maintenance required. They are set and forget compared to V-brakes and we're converts here at LUX, big fans of their reliability and power.

Other touches that you would expect on a frame at this level is internal brake hose routing and all of the mounting hardware for the dropouts and caliper mount. On the smaller youth frame(s), it's a 10mm dropout (with 8mm chain tensioners also included), while the Pro frames all have 15mm dropouts.

Features

  • Race proven 6061-T6 alloy. Square taper, multi butted, hydroformed alloy tubing keeps the Holeshot light and stiff, with a number of race seasons behind the design.
  • 22.5 inch Pro XXXL top tube. The longest Holeshot, with a 15.6 inch centre chainstay, 74 degree head angle and 71 degree seat angle on 406mm wheels.
  • Disc only, post mount. A 120mm rotor gives strong, precise braking that is closer to set and forget than V-brakes, with minimal maintenance.
  • 15mm Pro dropouts, built in tensioners. Chain tension and the disc mount sit in the dropout itself, so the rear end stays put and wheel changes stay quick.
  • 1621g with a tapered front end. Integrated tapered 1-1/8 to 1.5 inch head tube, press fit BB386 shell, internal brake hose routing and all mounting hardware included.

Heights overlap between bike sizes on purpose. If you fall in two size categories, a growing rider new to racing is usually better suited to the larger bike, a experienced rider who wants the bike to more responsive should err on the smaller size. Some brands label the Pro size Pro L, with the same fit.

How to measure

Stand your rider against a wall in the shoes they ride in, heels flat, and mark the top of their head. Measure from the floor to the mark. Just don't guess their height either, you know how fast they can grow!

Here are some tips

  • Between two sizes and still growing? Take the larger size, but make sure you check the top tube length of the bike. The length of top tube for a given size (Expert XL as an example) can vary up to a half inch or more across brands. Most Expert XL frames are 20", but we've seen them as long as 20.7"
  • Experienced racer and wanting the bike to be more responsive? Take the smaller size. You want the bike to be "under you", not a stretch to the bars and cranks.
  • Top tube is the number that actually changes the fit, so compare it against the bike they ride now.

Still not sure? We're the experts and size bikes for riders every day of the week. Our team has decades of experience between them and will help you decide which bike is the right fit based on rider height and racing experience.
