There's a myriad of choices out there on the BMX race carbon rim market, but here at LUXBMX we prefer to back Aussie companies as much as we can and with a 5 year warranty for original purchases, we reckon you can't go wrong with the Michram brand of OWT (Optimal Weave Technology) rims. 

Made from a mixture of the highest strength standard modulus fibres available, the rims are then finished with multiple layers of hand woven T800 carbon fibre and bound together with a 255 degree high TG resin to give them Optimal strength and stiffness compared with other rims on the market.

These are the 28 hole 451mm versions of the OWT rims and are a little narrower at 21mm to accomodate both 20 x 1-1/8th and 20 x 1-3/8th tyres and are an awesome option for the young rider still on the "skinny" wheel set up, but looking for maximum life from their wheels.
