Why did we make this?

Finding the right hub guard can sometimes be a massive effort with so many brands, styles and iterations of hubs. We wanted to create a hubguard that will work with practically any 14mm hub on the market by sitting on the outside of all existing cone hardware.

  • Fits practically any 14mm hub. Motive designed this one to work with almost any 14mm hub on the market, instead of a guard tied to one brand.
  • Sits outside the cone hardware. It sits on the outside of your existing cone hardware, so there is no need to swap cones to make it fit.
  • Suits 14mm shoulders too. Works with a full 14mm rear axle or a stepped axle with a 14mm shoulder.
  • Made from chromoly. Chromoly is a hard wearing choice for the part of the bike that spends its life against ledges and rails.
  • Non-drive side only. This guard is for the non-drive side, so it does not cover the driver side of the hub.
