Description

The Evo 2.5 is a remixed version of the industry-leading Evo 2 brake you know and love, with a lot more room for larger, modern tyre sizes. Just like the classic Evo 2, it is built around modular hardware features and affordable value. Install it as a rear brake or front brake straight out of the box.

The kit comes with Odyssey’s convenient double-lugged straddle cable, custom curved cable hanger and an array of hardware for adapting the brake to every possible set-up. Forged from aluminium for strength, and to avoid unnecessary upcharges from frivolous CNC machining.

Features

Front or rear, out of the box. The same kit sets up as a front or a rear brake, with the hardware for both included.
Room for bigger tyres. The Evo 2.5 opens up clearance over the Evo 2, so it clears larger, modern tyre sizes.
Everything but the frame mounts. You get the U brake, Monolever, Linear Slic Kable, straddle cable, curved hanger and Slim by Four pads.
Forged aluminium arms. Forged for strength rather than CNC machined, which keeps the cost down without giving up strength.
Hinged clamp lever. A medium sized right hand Monolever with a hinged clamp, so fitting and removing it is straightforward.
