Highlights

  • The 1986 original
  • Slic liner inside
  • Flattened inner wire
  • Lever or Gyro lug end

Description
This is the original cable that Odyssey launched in 1986. Still the standard go-to brake cable because it has proven to be simple and reliable, year after year. The Slic liner and flattened outer surface of its inner wire keeps the cable running smooth, and the choice to use the brake lever lug end or the Gyro lug end makes this cable adaptable to every brake set-up. Traditional coiled housing is ideal for front brakes.

About the Brand
Odyssey BMX is dedicated to quality and innovation. Odyssey has been a major player in the BMX industry for a long time now and has produced some of the most iconic and groundbreaking parts in the sport's history.

Features
  • The 1986 original. This is the cable Odyssey launched in 1986 and it is still the go-to because it has proven simple and reliable.
  • Slic liner inside. The liner cuts the drag on the inner wire, so the lever feels light and the brake returns cleanly.
  • Flattened inner wire. The outer surface of the inner wire is flattened so it slides through the housing rather than dragging on it.
  • Lever or Gyro lug end. You choose which end to use, so the one cable suits a straight brake setup or a Gyro.
  • Coiled housing for the front. Traditional coiled housing is ideal for front brakes.

Specifications
  • Cable: Slic lined housing with a flattened inner wire, traditional coiled housing
  • Note: Use either the brake lever lug end or the Gyro lug end. Coiled housing is best suited to front brakes.
