Description

Tested by some of the fastest Frenchies on the planet, the Pride Apex tapered forks have been designed and manufactured to handle some of the steepest and deepest tracks found. Jeremy Rencurel spent several months of the UCI SX circuit putting these carbon forks through their paces.

Their innovative design offers superior rigidity for unparalleled responsiveness on the track. Every curve and angle of the APEX is engineered to reduce drag, optimise stiffness, and maximise speed.

The internal construction of the APEX Carbon Tapered fork is tailored and optimized to provide significant strength. It also utilizes different types of carbon fibers based on their specific properties to best manage different types of loads in the areas where they occur – such as lateral forces, torsion, and impacts. Its steerer tube is made of 7075-T6 aluminum, a renowned alloy for its high strength. This feature not only ensures great structural strength but also increased durability.

Features

Carbon race fork, SX tested. Jeremy Rencurel spent several months of the UCI SX circuit on the Apex, on some of the steepest and deepest tracks around.
Torayca HM carbon construction. Different carbon fibres are used by property and placed to manage lateral force, torsion and impact in the areas where each load actually occurs.
Tapered 7075-T6 aluminium steerer. A 170mm steerer in high strength alloy adds structural strength and durability where the fork clamps into the frame and stem.
Shaped to hold speed. Every curve and angle is engineered to reduce drag and optimise stiffness, so the front end stays responsive on the track.
Machined 20mm thru axle dropouts. Fully machined 6061-T6 aluminium dropouts take a standard 20mm thru axle, with 116mm the recommended axle width.
