Description

The Promax P-1 is a lightweight, race proven linear pull BMX brake that balances strength, durability and performance. The arms are cold forged from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy and finished in gold.

There is 35 millimetres of vertical brake pad adjustment, about 30 percent more than most linear pull brakes, so you have plenty of room to line the pads up on the rim. Pads attach on a threaded post, and the brake is set up for long pull lever actuation.

Features

Cold forged 6061-T6 alloy. Cold forging the arms from 6061-T6 aluminium keeps the brake light while holding on to strength and durability.
35mm of pad adjustment. About 30 percent more vertical brake pad adjustment than most linear pull brakes, so the pads line up on more rims.
Long pull actuation. This is a linear pull brake, so pair it with a long pull lever rather than a standard short pull one.
Threaded post pads. Pads attach on a threaded post, which lets you set the height and angle before you lock them down.
194g on the scales. At 194 grams it keeps weight off a race build without moving away from a proven brake design.
