Description

The best place to feel a weight saving on a bike is the rotating mass of the wheels, and these RideNow TPU tubes do exactly that without costing a fortune. This one is the 18 inch, at 38 grams.

The valve is a 42mm Schrader, the car type, which suits most freestyle rims and some race rims. Fit rim tape, line the valve up square with the hole, inflate to whatever your tyre is rated for and go ride.

Features
  • 38 grams a tube. TPU instead of butyl, so you cut rotating weight right out at the rim where you feel it most.
  • Schrader valve, 42mm long. The car type valve suits most freestyle rims and some race rims, and takes any standard servo pump.
  • Sized for 18 inch wheels. Maximum inflation is set by whatever your tyre is rated to, not by the tube.
  • Rim tape is essential. Rim tape has to be fitted, clean of debris, and lined up with the valve hole for every installation.
  • Inflate a little first. Put no more than 5 psi, or 0.35 bar, into the tube before it goes in the tyre.
