Description

The Salt Everest rear wheel pairs a SALTPLUS Summit rim with a Salt Everest rear hub, built up and ready to bolt in. The Summit rim is double wall alloy with straight sidewalls, so there is plenty of material where a rim takes the hits.

The Everest hub runs an alloy shell on fully sealed bearings, with a 14mm axle and a 9 tooth cassette driver. Rim tape is included, so all you need to add is a tube and a tyre.

Features

Double wall alloy rim. The SALTPLUS Summit rim is double wall, so there is more material holding its shape when you land heavy.
Fully sealed hub bearings. Sealed bearings in the Everest hub keep grit and water out, so the wheel keeps spinning smoothly.
Runs a 14mm axle. The 14mm axle drops straight into a frame cut for 14mm dropouts.
9 tooth cassette driver. A 9 tooth driver suits a small sprocket setup, so you can run tight gearing off the cranks.
Rim tape included. Rim tape comes with the wheel, so the spoke nipples are covered before you fit a tube.
