Description

A nylon rim strip for 20 inch rims. It sits in the well of the rim between your spokes and your tube, covering the spoke holes so the tube has something smooth to sit against.

The strip is made from heavy duty nylon and measures 24mm wide, with the whole thing weighing 55g. Straightforward protection from spoke ends and any burs left in the rim.

Features
  • Heavy duty nylon strip. Nylon holds its shape in the rim well rather than stretching thin over the spoke holes.
  • 24mm of coverage. Wide enough to sit across the spoke holes so the tube never finds an edge to press into.
  • Shields the tube from spokes. Sits between spoke ends and your tube, which stops the slow leaks that come from the inside of the rim.
  • Covers burs in the rim. Any rough edges left in the rim are kept away from the tube, so a fresh build does not cost you a tube.
  • Just 55g. Barely registers on the build, so there is no reason to skip it.
